Who I am
River PA is my business. I’m Kascha, a self-employed virtual PA, and I’m responsible for any personal information you share with me through this website. I’m registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZC245710. If you have a question about your information, email hello@riverpa.co.uk.
What I collect and why
When you fill in my enquiry form, I collect your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and what you tell me about your business. When you email me, I have your email address and whatever you include in your message.
I use this only to reply to you and, if you’d like, to arrange a call. I don’t add you to a mailing list, I don’t use your details for marketing, and I never sell or pass on your information. The legal basis is that you’ve asked me to reply, and you may want to take steps towards working together.
Who else is involved
The enquiry form runs on Google Forms and my email runs through Google Workspace, so what you send is stored in my Google account. Google may store data outside the UK, under safeguards approved for international transfers.
Netlify hosts this website. Like most websites, its servers briefly record technical details such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site running and secure.
Wix stores the photographs on this site, and Behold shows my Instagram posts on the home page. When those load, your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address. If you click through to Instagram, Instagram’s own privacy policy applies.
Cookies
I don’t set any cookies, and I don’t use analytics or advertising tracking. If Behold or Wix use any cookies of their own, their privacy policies apply.
How long I keep it
If we don’t go on to work together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, I keep your contact details while we work together and invoices for six years, because HMRC requires it. The work I do for clients is covered separately in my terms of business.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email hello@riverpa.co.uk and I’ll reply within a month, usually much sooner. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If I change this notice, I’ll update the date at the top.
